    New to the jigging thing.......

Ok guys, I'm going to Atlantic Beach with some buddies next month and need a little insight on what I need. I have 2 Tsunami Airwave rods, 1 with a Saltist 20 and 1 with a Saltist 30. I guess these will be sufficient for the bottom critters, now I need some info on terminal tackle and jigs or whatever. Any help is appreciated.......

50- 80 lb braid to small spro to 80lb flouro leader 3-5 ft long,

plenty of good jogs out there, get an assortment and lots of them, its nothing to go through 10 or more jigs a day, do to break offs, bite offs and snags, ect. at least for me, especially if Kings or sharks are around

    use leader about 6-10' long
    80# is fine.
get some potroast jigs from easterm tackle.
they worked GREAT for us when we did the jig fest there.

also the longer jigs worked ok.

jig fast, jig hard, from the bottom up.
change speeds, reel fast, jig, pump jig, jig, jig jig...

    you will get bit.

    fast jigs get bit.

    good luck
