i like the wrap thru the first guide, we do that on some tuna rods

i like extra short rods for heavy jigs (Up 300grms), all my rods is less than 5.8"

the blank is of Quantum Boca jigging Rod
BCC410-400 Jiggin' 4'10" 80 - 100 250 - 500 Fuji PSS

yes, the original guides is aluminium oxide and now is SIC guides cromed frames

thats a good idea. if you have a rod that you like, change the guides

i use the fuji CLNSG or ICLNSG its the best guides for braid lines

I use alot of the M.. in IC ..and standard. they do work very well for braid
