Never even played with the Everol series yet. I'll have to check out Kobey's. I here they are nice.

THe new Baker reels have all of my attention. I am going to try out the new single speed for John this winter on several trips and test out different gear ratios, as he is not sure on what the East Coast guys want yet. I'm thinking they are going to hold up better than the Accurates and Avets. At least I hope so.

John know what East Coast fishermen want as I work with John and I carry John Baker reels. The reel is going to be the best jigging reel for big tuna in the market.
Everol reels are like small tank. Internally the reel is as strong as any other reels. With some modification, they are excellent reels for jigging. The downside of the reel is they are a little heavy for their sizes as use heavy material for strength and durability. Everol 6/12 is my favorite. I caught over 20 tuna in 50 -100 lbs range with the tiny reel (2/0 size).
Everol reel is also included in my selected items, but all Everol reel I carry will be upgraded by tunatoys.

That sounds interesting. I would love to see a review thread on that one, Alan Tani style.

My tiny Everol 6/12 which is Saltiga 20 size has over 30 lbs drag at strike with excellent free spool after upgraded by tunatoys. Do you need more review ?
