No. I am still in NJ. I was asked to come down to NC for grouper fishing tomorrow, but I'd rather go bluefin jigging.

    Ah, I see.

I just talked to the girl at Teachs Lair and she said nobody had brought a bluefin in yet(at 1630). I was going to offer you a ride if I still go down tomarrow. She did say they got some yellowfina and blackfins.

Im still making calls trying to get a good report before I go any where.

Offshore: Pretty day at sea! Boats came in with fair catches of yellowfin tuna, blackfin tuna, amberjack and albacore.

The next bite on a jig.
It has to be cold, raining and miserable to kick up the Bluefin bite. Like stripers. The more uncomfortable it is, the better the bite.

Must have been too nice out today.

Finally got a hold of Bowman, he had 1 bluefin a wahoo and some mixed bottom fish. LOTS of current. The bluefin was on the 240 line. His party wanted yellowfins, so the bluefin was the consolation.

Wish I could go, but tommorrow is a work day! Let me know if you ever need another jigger, we can go in my boat (23' Contender) or yours. I start taking every other Wednesday off once it gets warm, if it's calm, I'm fishing. I think I've finally acquired enough jigging gear to get the job done.
