My new 500g rod on riley rod tt blank

A friend of mine just finished this and i though i would post some pics. Thor Thunder 500g blank, Alps XN guides, Alps Centralock reel seat, rubber ginbal with split grips in a spiral wrap. Can't wait to hear the story of a beast getting caught with it!

I just left Mike's house and was looking at those blank as well as the rest of Mike's work..All I have to say is this guys biuld's a beautiful Rod..Can't wait till the weekend to break in the two new ones he made me...Stand By for the report...

I'm not sure if you have used these or not, but I am switching everything I have over to them. I love them.

That 500 will do well for you for super deep dropping and fighting the big tunas when they come back again next April.

haven't used it yet. my buddy is doing some custumization on the foregrip right now and i am spooling it up tomorrow in hopes to yous it on sunday. that is my purpose. super deep, bft jigging and sword jigging. i haven't tried it yet but once i get it spooled up i am going to dead lift with it. i am guessing 25-30# no problem. that blank it tough.
