I was afraid to get down my jigs, but I decided to jig anyway because it is also life time experience to get giant bite on my jigs and to get spooled completely.

By the way, what kind of sardines did you use? If you don't mind sharing the info....I only landed small fish so far down there and I am dying for a bigger fish. Thank you and congratulations again!!

Kil thanks for sharing your story. I'm sure those memories will last forever.
I knew in my mind that you were going to have luck when you told me about the trip on Saturday. Everytime you mentioned if you had a happy grin on your face, its almost like you knew it was time.
See you up there soon.

Trav, if you plan to trail your boat to Cape Cod soon, go for giants off Chatham. If giant bites are slow you can always come to inshore for poping smaller blueifin.
It is only 30 miles run to fishing ground from Bassriver or 40 mile run from Hyannis, Cape Cod. It is very short run from a lunching area in Chatham, but they are very shallow and I don't recommend it. We can do jigging only trip for giants.

Oh ? it is my mistake. I got to correct my report. It is not sardine, but blueback ocean herring. strange thing was we found only one skeleton of dogfish in the stomach.
