its a american tackle 58 somethin or other - the 500g one

i might go with the 400g if i were you - this thing is a beast! but i havnt fished it yet and i know it BENDS over with a 90ish lb AJ. So maybe the 500g is where its at!

for the money, best deal ive seen out there! you can contact paul(paul708) for pricing and lead time.

i highly recommend him!

Flatliner recently built me an American Tackle 500g rod, and I found it to be very balanced, light weight, and not to bulky. I have read that Amer. Tackle 500's are not as heavy as some other 500's. I love mine so far, but have only gotten it wet once with a pair of 10lb tuna, and a 35lb ish AJ.

Thanks for posting. glad you like it.
Thanks for using a SFC sponsor,

yeah, the blank.AT 5810 (mudhole VJ)
this is NOT the heaviest model they make, they do have another Bear

but seems to be very good for decent size fish.

they have a whole line of blanks. from 100 to 500+ very nice.
parabolic. light weight..i think the blanks weigh about 6oz.

these rods are priced from 229.00 to about 275.00.using FUJI SIC guides.

of course if you want some bling.rod bling 016.JPG.they can run a little over 300$
