    Morehead June Jig-a-thon

Just a quick Pre-announcement. I will be putting together a Jig-a-thon in Morehead City in June. Most likely on the 12, 13 and 14.

Its the final weekend of the Big Rock BMT, which is always pretty exciting around town. The dolphins are always in full swing, along with all the other pelagics.

If this weekend doesn't work out for the majority, we can always push it back a week. Some folks from out of town want to come in, so whatever works best.

The boat arrangements have not been finalized, but I have several ideas.

Lets discuss and stay tuned for details

Somebody has to leader all my fish

The grill will be running on high and the coolers will be full of ice at my place down east.

Sounds like a good Idea..Can't beat the fishing out of AB/MHC close to the break, a bunch of wrecks and most runs less than 45 nm, what more can you ask for..working out of AB/MHC is a real pleasure..Ken

Sounds like a blast but its cutting into our tuna season here so we'll see. Guess we can break away one time. LOL

Is this just a get together or more like a tournament type deal like Ken was talking about.?

I would love to do a tourney, however I don't have the time to do it right. I have put on a few king tourneys and it takes a ton of effort.

This is just going to be a get together this year, to give some of the guys from out of town a chance to fish some different bottom (Big Rock Area) and meet up with some of the other NC jiggers.

    We can use my boat

I can fish the 13th. The 14th going on a family camping trip for 7 days.

Jim, I don't know if you are trying to round up boats, but I will make mine available for the 13th, and can take 3 jiggers with me.
