    mold swap thread

List the molds you have and are willing to lend out. List molds you are interested in borrowing.

I'll start a rules list please chime in with ideas for rules.

    1. If someone has a mold you would like to borrow PM them. Please work out the details in private.

    2. You have two weeks from when the owner puts mold in Mail to use and get it back. That gives a couple days in the mail to you. A week for you to use the mold and a couple days in the mail back to the owner. Unless you make other arrangements with the owner.

    3. Owner let borrower know in advance of any inserts, hooks, or special hardware needed for your mold. That way the borrower can order supplies about the same time you are mailing mold, so when he gets it he'll be ready to go.

    4. Respect other peoples property! Only use the molds for there intended use. Do not modify any ones molds!

    5. Make sure if your borrowing a mold one way (not sending one other way) you send the owner a check back with the mold to cover his shipping. This does not apply to swapping sending molds both ways.

I have a bunch of do-it molds. I not sure of all the ones i have because they are at a freinds place. I do know i have the following:

do-it casting spoon, i'm pretty sure it's the 3 oz

    do-it diamond jig 1 1/2 and 2 oz.

    do-it hot lips 3/4,1,and 1 1/2 oz.

I have a pyramid sinker mold for 6 and 8oz.

    do-it bullet nose jig head 1/8,1/4,3/8,1/2,and 3/4oz.

do-it round head tapered barb 1/8,1/4,3/8,and i'm not sure of the rest of the sizes but i think it goes to 3/4oz. This mold has been pourly modified to take bigger hooks on some of the sizes.

I know i have some more but not sure.

I have some rtv molds of 160g and 200g drift tune,230g nagamasa,10oz hooker and a 16oz. zero dropper (still untested). I'm not lending out these molds because i'm using them and they can be damaged to easily but i could offer up some blank jigs poured by me if someone has something to offer for trade. These are some of my first attemts with rtv and the quality of the jigs are not that great.

I also have some plugs that i am pouring with from molds out of casting resin and urethane foam that are coming out perfect but i still need some time to tune them properly before i can offer them up.

I'm am looking for tuna jigs molds.

'd give one to you if I had it. That will be a big mold and lots of hot lead going in. Be careful with that size mold. I have found that keeping the lead cooler on those big pours is better than really hot, especially going into an RTV mold vs an aluminum mold.
    Good Luck
