MHC Jigging Trip 1/16

If nothing changes I'm off work the 16th. I thought I would throw something out there.

If the weather permits is anyone interested on a day of jigging on the 16th? Going out on my boat from the MHC wildlife ramp. I have a 24 cc and could take up to 3 guys jigging.

This is a not for sure thing, but want to see if there is any intrest in trying to put a jigging day together.

Just so everyone knows I'm a greenhorn when it comes to jigging. But, if my work schedule and weather holds up I'm willing to give it a try with some of the folks on this form.

My preferance is grouper, but will try whatever anyone wants to try. At this point no plan other than trying to get out on the water and practice jigging.

We'll just keep an eye on the weather and use this thread to see if there is any intrest.

I figure if we can get 3-4 to go all go where ever the weather permits. I have no problem running 30-40 miles if thats what the group would like.

I have a primary rod and a back-up. Right now 16 rod holders hoping to have 20 before this trip.

the way the weather has been lately, it might be slick as glass, might be 10-12's too
