Sometimes, we are graced by professionals who are a cut above the rest in their line of work. I am both inspired and convicted to share about my experiences with Marine Creations Taxidermy (www.marinecreations.com). When it comes to fish replicas, I sincerely believe Marine Creations Taxidermy is hands-down THE best.

Not too long ago, I commissioned a red grouper mount from the head artist Mike Kroessig after I caught a nice Red on an offshore NC jigging trip. I just saw the picture he sent me of the completed fish, and I was just speechless....

Mike is professional, kind, sincere, and in-tune with the emotions of an angler's dream catch. He has done a few mounts for me, and this one really was jaw-dropping. If EVER anyone wants to commission a fish replica (they don't do skin mounts), please please please consider him! (Thanks Mike!!!!!!!)

All I did was send him a photo of my catch (me with the tan cap), and he did the rest! I have attached a few photos that he sent me of the process as he was painting it!
