March 13th Jiggin on the Bite Me

Back on board the Bite Me today were the "banned from the internet" boys from Jersey Jay's tackle.

Strictly jigin today, had a hard time finding a good mark, ran all over the ocean freaking out.

finally we found a mark like we saw all day yesterday, and the crew instantly hooked 4. Well, two main lines broke when other fish swam into them one hook pulled, landed the other one, a 60" fish that they kept.



Found a few other marks but no bites.

Finnally late in the day another boat put us on a the best mark we saw all day and Jay hooked up on a nice one, several anglers got a turn on this one and he was brought to leader and released, fish was fatm probably around 70-75" and released unharmed.

yes it was, fish were moving very fast and I could not figure out all day which way they were moving. Finally figured out that they were paddling against the current, and the last couple of marks, we got on em.

I wish I had these guys on Saturday, those marks were thick and stayed with you along time. We had trollers on Saturdayand caught them good that way too. Sunday, I think the trollers did better than the jiggers.

It is weird how some days are a better jig bite and some days are a better troll bite.

Anyway, I don't have suitable tackle of my own to jig for these beasts. I scored a couple of blanks from Jersey Jay, and was wondering if you would build them out for me.
