poppers are almost where i want it to be. they swim well and throw like a rocket. my biggest concern is the wood, i chose red cedar because it doesnt get waterlogged as easily as yellow birch. the ''con'' is being that its very hard its also fairly brittle. its hardness also prevents the sealers and primers to soak in for bettter paint adhesion, there are ways around it though. im waiting for this weather to warm up o test the finish in a school of kingfish and or barracuda.
