Well he was one of the 1st people to start helping me out. Gotta say really nice gentlemen. That aside i was hell bent on getting a nice setup used but with that way things seem to be going no one is selling...haha... or what i want anyhow. So i went got myself the stella and just PM'd Paul in hopes he has something laying about that will fit my reel quite nicely. I would custom order something but im hell bent on really trying for some nice fish on October 8th and with little time i really dont wanna wait. Gman's vid's have my blood boiling and i havent stopped doing my homework and getting the the necessities that are required. Still need to drop the question though where on earth is a good place to pick up the PE lines all the local guys around here look at me like i have 6 heads when i ask them if they have it. Anyhow i found this site just a few months back and i must say all the guys here are more then willing to help out the new guy find his place in the big blue. I must say thx to all those who helped and are continuing to help me out.

Great choice on the 18k. Many people try to go a different route but end up there anyway. I hesitate to tell you in case you haven't found it already, but go to anglers-proshop.com and you will find everything (including the PE line) that you need...

...but be warned...getting into the world's best gear is a slippery slope that no one comes back from You will soon find yourself justifying gear that you never knew you needed

If you call, ask for Sami- he is a wealth of knowledge.

    Dan,
I'm going to miss you in Venice. I was hoping we were going to get to fish together.

Yeah dude, I'm completely pissed that it didn't work out this year- the plug got pulled on my trip at the last minute. I hope you guys slay 'em and make me even more pissed off

Pete, was Sami out of the PE line? He should be able to set you up with it no problem.

I trying to network and get to know all the jiggers of my area, kind of difficult at the moment. I got the generic places with a few odd balls here and there that you ask about jigging and they walk me to freshwater bass stuff HAHA. Anyhow only places i have heard of is Klsong and i just hit him up to find out his store location and hours. If anyone knows any close places to Passaic NJ im game to drive for gear so any and all help would be appreciated.

Pete where is passaic nj? You got tackle direct (OC), paul sells oti line (PA), further north you got Kil (basicaly NYC) and Fishermens Headquarters(LBI) has it or use to. I have the 18000sw and fit 300m spool of pe6 daiwa boat line and about another 150 of suffix under it. If not going to cast specifically then go PE8. Especially AJing and big BFT.

I spoke to Klsong today im heading over there to pick up a few odds and ends lol sure it will be a pocket emptying trip after i saw his picture of the jig wall. Anyhow i didnt know he was that close i can get to the cliffs in about 25-30 minutes depending on traffic. Got i can wait to see the shiny wall of heaven.
