Fishing Report Deep Jigging Day #2 9-25-2010

Day #2 was a rough ride out **** steep south swell/wind and to add to the fun thunder storms in the area. It turns out it was worth the long ride. The 1st drift was a double hook up and Ray landed the largest of the year and maybe ever on Live Line. The fish was 64 inches x 40 inch girth. We revived her and she swam away strong. The wind continued to blow but the big fish were eating every drift. Ben landed a 63 inch x 37 inch girth. Every AJ landed were all big fish. Ray ended his day **** a 60 inch x 36 inch girth fish. This was a outstanding giant fish day even though we only fished a few hours. I will let the pictures do the talking.

I am taking a couple advil just from looking at those pictures. What kind of people want to put themselves through that kind of abuse? Why not just punch yourself in the gut, and carry around a couple cinder blocks on the end of a sick out in front of you for a couple hours ?

When we get one over 68" I think I am going to have to bring her in and put it on a scale.
