    Im by no means a Guru But I use the same as Whitey but mine is longer 40' of 60lb. I like the no stretch in the Spectra, but I like 40' cause when they get squirley at the boat I want my line to have some give to help keep that hook in there mouth.

    No swivel at all. Tie the leader straight to the spectra and then the other end of the leader direct to the jig.

    Thanks, I just bought a spinner for jigging and that will make casting it alot easier.

    I start with about 20 ft or so of 60-80 flouro. bimini to bristol straight to braid, never had problems. like 20 ft so i can retie comfortably throughout the day changing jigs or after fish and not have to redo a line to line connection on the boat
