Ok paul are they home made or are they commercial?
How are you rigging them?
Weights? 8oz at a guess for the small one 12oz the bigger?
What size hooks?
Looks like you could even skirt them, got me excited need to find some thanks![]()

I noticed someone selling big (really big) butterbeans in the for sale forum yesterday. It was tempting to place an order out of curiosity.
Paul, adding that spinner is killer..... I am trying to use an assist hook with the spinner but had trouble, so started to use a rubbber band on the cord. The problem with that is you lose that floating hook which helps trigger bites. I've yet found a hook on any of those jigs that hold to 80lb braid. I also fish a stiff rigged mono assist hook in NC for grouper using crimps and it worked well.
Paul: Deffinately try the 10 inch Chart. BKD's ( Bass Kandy Delights on a big jig head. They work great! Just use a touch of super glue on the jig head hook to help them hold up.

Paul, I'll bring to jig fest. I used 300lb mono I think. Maybe 200. I found that crimping onto the solid ring was best then tying a 2 1/2 turn clinch to the hook was better than crimp because it made the hook stiff with less tangle issues. I'm going to mess with using 400lb 49 strand wire this fall trip. I think that is ticket. The rubber band goes around the assist hook and the head of the jig behind the eye and rigging. When fish hit it just pulled out the rubber band. I found that 90% fish were hooked on assist hook. I think partly because the jig being used is hand tied and about 10" long, I must have 1 paket of flash, and 2 packets of fish hair. Its big and flashy. I learned that from watching Larry Dahlberg. He's the man in my book......a self do-er!!!!
