    Koos Tackle Handles

I just ordered two of these to go on some loaner reels that I have, based on Ty's good feedback. I will update this thread with my opinions when the arrive and i install them on the saltist 40's. I also got carbontex for them.

This is Ty's reel with the handles.

I will say that I ordered it and had tracking info 15 minutes later. He ships faster than me.

I have that order. I have been kicking around the idea of free shipping for the rest of August all day today, so I may refund your shipping or toss in a free jig to make up the difference.

I have a new snapper style jig coming out in a few months. Maybe I will call it the crack rock

That is a Daiwa Ishidai. That model comes with the line counter.

Its pretty much a Saltiga with a line counter and more drag.

Oh dang... thats really nice. If you do thanks, if not, your products more than make up for it. Great quality.

That being said... I am already mad I didnt order the little trembler looking jig, if you make one thats a snapper killer, my wife will kill me. (IE I will buy a ton of them).

I honestly am trying not to spend anymore $ on fishing until I see what the snapper closure is going to be... but my coworker keeps showing me more stuff i need.

Nice handle btw.... sorry to sidetrack the post.

Its OK for $40 shipped. It comes with the handle and everything, so you take off the whole handle and just bolt on the new one.

    Pro's:

    Price - $40 shipped
Installation - 3 minutes tops, plus time to oil.
Looks - looks good and feel good.

    Con's:

Weight - its a little heavy. The lower section needs to be milled out like the top.
Lack of Bearings - there are no bearings in it at all. I added some teflon oil to the shaft and that helped a lot.
