We headed to the OBX with a great group of guys to fish the 8th and 9th.
We heard The fishing was good on thursday with the hooked up getting in on a good jig bite,
so we were excited about getting out.

Before we left we were concerned about the closer of the OI.
After a call from Adam with the canyon runner the trip was a go.

We had people from Pa, NJ, Del,MD,Va and NC signed up for some jigging.

The weather was nice, we had a great ride out, The fish were spotty on the finder,
We stopped over marks, and jigged. searched for fish, and jigged.
Heard the other boats trolling and jigging not much action.
We had a Hit or 2 on our boat, not much action.
just one of those days, thats fishing.

The other boat was able to hook up and catch a nice bluefin, realeased unharmed.

and roland had another hooked up for a while.

As the day went on it got a litttle windy, not bad, but was getting concerned for saturday.
And as it turned out we were blown out for saturday.

Overall a good trip.

I did hear from the guys That it was a great learning trip.
And it seemed that the guys liked seeing all the Jig and popping stuff.
