JM Dancing Jig

I just got 300g and 350g JM Dancing Jig.
Those jigs are not small and are for deepwater jigging for offshore seabass, cod or grouper.
The finish is as good as Shimano's Lucanus jigs. The major difference is you can use any assist hooks for Dancing Jig while Shimano's Lucanus jigs has two small hooks. Shimano claims two small hooks are better for Lucanus jig's application, but many fishermen don't like it as they drop too many fish.
You can choose any size hook you like for JM Dancing Jig though it comes with one assist hook.
I can not tell these jigs are better or as good as Lucanus or other similar jigs as I haven't tried them. But they look good.
I can't wait to test them soon.

what is the cost differance in the lucanus and the jigging master? I was under the assumption that you could put any size hooks you wanted on the lucanus if you made them yourself.At least thats what I saw many fisherman doing

The JM is much cheaper than Shimano's Lucanus jigs. And Shimano don't make heavier than 200g Lucanus jigs.
Glenn (gman) showed how to modify to attach assist hooks on Lucanus jigs, but you don't need any modification on JM Dancing jigs to attach assist hooks for any size.

USA is the only country which still doesn't use gram.
450g is one pound (16 oz),so it is not difficult to convert.

Hi, Steve, how have you been ?
I might go down on Thursday for grouper fishing and I plan to test the Dancing jig for grouper.
I heard there are lots fo nice gag grouper in shallow water.
