I'd wait till Patrick is available!

Is he not fishing Hatteras this winter?...

I'd recommend you ask him for a recommendation if he is not fishing.

We fished with him last year bluefin were snapping.

The next bite on a jig.
Big Tahuna does some jigging and bottom stuff. I also think the Bite Me does it a little also.

If not Hatteras, the Country Girl out of Pirates Cove specializes in tiles and tunas and is probably the best set up boat for a jigging trip in NC. Can't beat a 57' walk-around... Also can take more than a 6-pack with plenty of room to spare, I think up to 27 for tilefishing?

I have been trying for almost 3 months. Even though the US economy is flat, the rest of the world is jamming messing up my opportunities to squeeze in line. I think they did hit the water last week though, so the short answer is 4 weeks hopefully.

Thats interesting. I don't know why he would go to Wilmington to commercial king fish this winter. I know plenty of capt's that commercial king fish out of Hatteras in the Winter...and the ride is much shorter to the warm water so that equals more money.

I'm sure you will be happy with either of the recommendations given. If it was me...I would choose whoever Patrick suggested because you know you will have a good time even if the fishing is slow.

Scott and his mate Kenny have it down to a science, probably the best in Hatteras and the tv shows and bookings will show it. Im sure the Good Times catchs fish but the boat is in serious need of TLC and it shows.

I also don't know of anyone else to help you

I have many people inquiring to fill the same need out of Hatteras but I can't find the resources.

There is a need for 27-31 foot center console at a price that didn't require 10 people to split. Need 4 or 5 anglers like out of Wilmington on plastic boats for gun and run jigging.

    Anyone?
