    Jigging for stripers?

    Hey Gang,

I love jigging for bass this time of year.

It seems my best jigs have a little bit of orange in them this time of year. Not sure why? We've been fishing on Sand eel blooms in the past , and orange is the ticket.

What colors do you guys find to be the best?

    Thanks Tim

    Tim-

If I could catch one I would let you know

I'll have to give the orange a shot

D I don't know what it is but over the last 2 years the most productive has orange in it. I also just let the jig lay on the bottom and pop it up a few feet and than drop them back to the bottom. Very few fish caught from mid water column to the top.
I'm gonna have to get some pics for u.
