    It feels good set-up, now just to get on the water and put it through its paces. The good thing is that when you can get a weather window the winter jigging is pretty darn good here.

    sorry i forgot to put the rod, reel, and jig info

    Rods: JPR 40-60 and 80-100 in both casting and spinning models

    Reels: shimano stellas 8,000 10,000 18,000 and 20,000, accurate boss 665w, 665narrow, and 870narrow, and torsa 16's

    jigs: Oti jumbo and jagers, and olde salt tackle 200gram in pink and glow

    ps love the classic look of Cork on my custom JPR jig rods.....

    Those cork handles on the jiggin sticks are sweeeeet...When I get a custom made that is definitely the route I am going. Don't really care for all the crazy looking carbon fiber grips.

    couple pics of fighting what I am guessing was a very big AJ, before getting broken off. It was with an accurate 270 and a quantum boca rod....the jig was a blue scale 160g katana, same one I had caught the almaco on. I got maybe two cranks in after I lost a bunch of line and then he broke me off. The last pic was seconds before the leader broke about about halfway up.

    COOL! This is gonna be fun! Lots of time to get the winning fish photo which is good because every time I check the forecast here lately its super nasty out! I haven't been jigging since mid-November, I have this ornament on my tree to remind me of all the fun & makes me feel better!! LOL...
