    Jigging in Miami

Weather has been a real pain lately so when we saw the window today we went for it. Condition were not bad so we headed out to a couple of wrecks in 250' armed with a new 1400 saragosa on a captain harry's jigging rod. We have an older 1400 and after a couple jacks I guess its time to get it serviced. The AJs were very thick and running larger than normal. I guess since the weather has been bad nobody has beengiving them any exercise. They pulled extra hard. I made a few rigging errors trying to change up some tactics. Lost a few hooks. I made a assist rig with a heavy duty treble and it worked out ok. Any of you guys use them? The AJ's are biting so get out there if you can. We were bit on almost every drop.
