    It looked like somewhere around 1/2 inch, it looked like it was just enough difference to notice while jigging. I didn't measure but held them side by side at Kil's shop.

    Now I have a new one to throw at Paul here. Double stripper guides with integrated offset.

    Haha Jim. The double stripper guides really allow the line to come onto the reel without buildup on one side.Certainly the best acid wrapped rod i have used

    What type of reel seat is that?

    Those JM reels look sweet. I saw the specs on the PE 7 and 8. The 8 holds 500 meters of PE-8, weighs 25.2 oz, and has enough drag to pull me over the side of the boat. I'm thinking I would like one in a lefty.

    Jim let me know if you want to go up and check them out. I want to see some of Kils new goodies and show him some rods as well. Maybe I'll ask the your better if she lets you get an early x-mas present. LOL
