The next bite on a jig.

    The Jigging Master

Phase 1 of the new handle installation was unpacking after getting a Kilsong package today.

My 15 month old jigger took an immediate liking to them.

Picture 1 - he is getting his jig on. Video of it would have been better, because it was really funny.

Then James was trying to figure out the handle assembly

BE WARNED....This is what happens when you take away a boys Jigging Master stuff.

LOL!!! Thats funny!! My brother has a pic series like that of my nephew/godson. He was outside and in the pictures, he goes from smiling, to looking worried, to very worried, to mouth open screaming and crying!

Anything would be cheaper than offshore fishing.

Good thing is, that if he likes to fish, he's drawn the lucky number, because Daddy will always keep him in boats.

If he doesn't like to fish, then he's SOL.

This was a shot of the stock Daiwa handle. I had trouble because I initially didn't see the top bearing down in the handle.

This was the layout I used for the new handle.

The shaft greased and installed. I've got a little dab of grease on the threads and now ready for the handle. Some may recommend oil, but I like grease.

    The finished product

Very nice, Jim! I know Kil's got the 40 like that and it goes everywhere with him! His go-to reel. My son, Bret, used it on a JM Powerspell 350 to catch a 120-130 BFT in Cape Cod when he was up there with Kil in Oct. Be great on the big AJ's!
