    Jigging in Grenada In$ufi$hent Fund$

i know you other jiggers out there wont think this first pic is sick but any other person thought we were crazy for that many rods for two days. chartered a 36 luhrs on a day when it was blowing 20-25 solid and the guy told me he had a working sounder and he didnt which makes it so much harder. even with a three knot current we made the best of it and caught your usual species cudas, kings, rainbow runners, One really big bull Shark, mackeral, two different kinds of jack and one nice red snapper. paul thanks for the new 400gram JPR rods they came out incredible, love the cork(actually the big bull shark was caught on one of them). i would say 90% of our fish came on the OTI jumbo jig in 300 and 400gram size.

Its funny how the weather never looks as bad in the pics. You always know if looks a little rough in the pics, then it was pretty bad in reality.

Are those two OTI rods I see in your line up? How do you like them?

yes those are oti 300 gram rods and i really like them. being that they have the blank through the but section with no foam, the rods are much more comfortable in your arm pit to use all day. i know i looked at the pics and i didnt really look all that bad but the luhrs was rolling hard and we stuffed the bow a dozen times moving spots.

He just made me one that way. Its parabolic to the gimbal Almost like a hots, but spiraled.

This weekend a photographer/writer for natl pubs will be along with us and I have a feeling that rod will be everyones favorite. It may even make a pic or twelve

Paul is making me one now and it won't be ready for the trip but it will be ready for my next one. Can't wait to see it bent with a big fish at the other end. Have you tried yours out yet and if so how did it do? Also I need to get some windons from you for the trip.
