i guess you could call them promotional.
a few guys asked for "cheaper" rods..and these are what i am finishing today, a 'cheap" rod..selling around 200$ or less.
if they are still around for the trip i will bring. kinda hoping they wont be

but i have time to do a few more before the trip

I sure hope the fish show.. I have to work 6 overnighters out of cape may next week. The reports I heard are less than poor and thats coming from some pretty reliable guys that usually smoke the YFT this time of year. Ken

Good luck with them. You know with yellowfins they can show up out of nowhere, and disappear just as fast. But out of 6 overnighters, you will get your turn I'm sure. If I were in your shoes, I would have one thing on my mind anyway...Swordfishes.

Im sure will just beat on the BFT if the YF don't make a decent showing but there's nothing wrong with that!! I'm just working in the pit for Over Under Charters so I'm sure will have our shot at a few Swords..Alittle warm up for this winter down south. Looks like another Sh#tty weekend in NC so I'll have to cancel my charters and head up a couple days yearly. Ken

I hear you on the weather. I have been crying to my boys for the past two days, because I have to be in Beaufort to sea trial my boat for the buyer and won't even be able to wet a line. On top of that, the speed boat race will have the basin all messed up. The wind just blows!

Story of my life this season. It seams like it's been blowing from the end of BFT season, can't seem to string together a week of nice weather. Need to get out there and get into those HOOOS!! If I can have half the season I had last year with the hoos I'll be real happy. Good number of fish between the rise and the rock. Ken

and talk BFT. Some guys are picking swords now but it should get better. The BFT are full force again too. I'll introduce you our jigging possi from the south side NJ and kick it!!!! LOL What dates you here again I have drunkin hay ride the 4th but free after that. Got some new gear to show you and strategies for the bigguns!!!
