    jigging in the bahama channel

hi guys i/m new to the forum and i live in the uk we fish twice a year off the cayos in cuba and on our last trip we was broke off many times by what we thought were bull sharks so we stepped up the braid and mono leader ...and indeed landed bull shark up to 300lb but we also still lost many more unseen fish ..which just did not move off the bottom ,maybe grouper or big tuna.. well my reason for this thread is to find the best set up from the reel ..i have saragosas 18000s to the rods line/braid hook/jigs and to try and get the beasts up to the boat...we where fishing 300mtrs deep ..i know you guys know your stuff and would be gratefull for any help..many thanks cheers johnboy

The next bite on a jig.
Johnboy. If you like the spinning reels, then a Stella 20K with 100lb Diawa boat braid would be a big game weapon. Its capable of very high drag and will withstand any long runs a fish might make.

    This might work for you.

I think he is fighting a 300-400# shark.
    Using a JPR ROD.
    Check the video.
    Rods start at $249.
