I dont know if i am going this year.
8 1/2 hr drive, for about a hour of testing.

Your help down there meant more to me than anything I got from the show. We bought blanks from the show, but I picked my builder based on who listened to what I wanted the best, actually walked the show with me and charged a reasonable amount for the work.

Not to take anything away from anyone else there, but I have enjoyed the work you have done for me this year.

PS. Have you started my 200g-NZ?

I did this feather inlay myself as a result of things I learned at the show the year before last.

I would second the recommendation for the guides! Fuji SiN2, SiC, or the Am Tackle Virtus Nanolites would all work. I like using the LRSG25 as my stripper guide, then MNSG 12's for my bumper and running guides. I set up 2 of the Hercules 60H like this LRSG 25 stripper, MNSG12s for the remainder:

Similar setup here, LRSG25, MNSG 16 bumper and MNSG12's for the remainder, OTI 600 blank.

These guides are plenty strong. The SiN2 use a strong frame, the same as the HBSG, but I don't know if the extra frame strength is really needed or not. The SiN2 and Am Tackle Virtus are also a little less expensive, too!

Paul I hope you get a chance to get down here again and do some fishing. It was nice to be able to fish with the man that was going to build my next rod. It was also nice to see your work in action.

Ponce, I will be down there next week for 5 days. Hopefully I will get to meet you. If you see a red headed guy walking around, say hi.
