Since it is the time of year to focus on things in the shop I decided to try something I have been thinking of for a while.
What I did was take a cod jig fresh out of a mold I have and stuck it in a 60 ton hydraulic press. Painted it, stuck some eyes on then a clear coat.
The original jig was cylindrical in shape with a taper at both ends. Could also be used as a trolling weight.
After that put on a Eastern Tackle assit hook and done. The finished jig ends up being 440g. What do you guys think?? Be honest. See any problems with the design?
