    I havent decided yet.

    Jacks on the jigs.

Fished offshore of Va. Beach Sunday as I mentioned in someone's Thread. Caught jacks, seabass, and tilefish on the jigs & also some live bait. The amberjack were in the upper portion of the water column and were hitting chart. BKD soft plastic lures & the butterfly jigs. The BKD's outfished the metal for the jacks by allot, go figure?? The seabass and tiles came on the metal and I hooked up one big mystery fish that pulled the hook about halfway up. Dont know what it was but it was big and strong & I hooked it right on the bottom jigging for the seabass..
I was very pleased with my trevala combos & especially my AVET JX 2 speed reel. The conventional Trevala did twist under a heavy load a bit. I guess its "off spine" ?
I have a Thunnus reel on my Trevala spinner and it worked fine for amberjack. Not sure if its up to tuna or not??
Here is a pic. of my friend Carolyn and a nice jack she caught on a BKD and my trevala spinner.

Used all colors of metal. The jacks just really wanted that soft plastic jig.. The seabass were BIG 3 & 4 pouders steady and the tiles were bluelines and we in the 6 to 9 pound range. Also one wreckfish that was maybe 15 pounds.
