Installation of JM T-bar handle and round knob

I have been asked how to install JM power handles and round knob for various different reels.
I am going to post pictures of installation one by one as time allows.
First, here are pictures of T-bar handle installed in Shimano Stella 20000 (it fit Stella 6000SW -20000SW).

You can get ball bearing on the left from the reel and JM provides another ball bearing on the right. with two ball bearings in the handle, turning handle is super smooth.

The JM handle model shown above is LT81. You need special long shaft for Stella SW.

Does this one have the little thin washers like the other one? I don't see them pictured.

There were two thin washer from reels, but I don't know it comes from Stella or TN40.

TN40/Torsa

I made a special order for TN40 as it requires special shaft and some parts. I finally figure out how to install. It fits to Torsa reel as TN40 and Torsa use exactly same handles.

Ball bearing on the left comes from TN reel and JM provides other parts including another ball bearing shown on the right.
LT61 model is used for the picture.

Saragosa 18000F/ Stella 20000FA

Here is a picture of Saragosa 18000F with JM LT61 handle.
The installation is pretty easy by using special long shaft for Shimano reels.

This is for installation of old Stella 20000SW model with JM LT61 model.

As you see in the pictures above, Shimon use a ball bearing at the bottom of inner shaft for Stella model, but they use a fixed ring for Saragosa 18000F. It is much smoother with two bearings instead of one bearing in the shaft.

Kilsong,

Those are killer handles!!! I just got a beat up shimano sustain 8000FD reel off of ebay and I have it in pieces right now so I can spruce it up. The JM handle looks like it is compatible with my reel and I would really like to get one for it. Are there different colors available besides what is shown in the pics above? The handle that is in the pic with the torsa looks like it would be the closest match to the sustain but I am not too sure. Also... How much does one of these beasts cost?

I don't know if it would be an issue but the inner bearing on the handle is toasted and rusty so it is gonna have to be replaced. According to your first post on this(kilsong), it says that bearing will come with the handle. Is that the same case if I were to order one for the sustain?

Thanks for you help bro,

Dave
