    I need this!

I thought I had everything I could possibly need, but on trips, there is NEVER enough room for jigging rods. I saw this in Bogi's post and decided I need one of these.

Those seem nice, esp if you don't want a permanent rack! We added a stainless steel rack and drilled it in tight. We have like 25 rod holders on our boat now and would you believe sometimes we still run out of room!

I'm thinking about getting it and just keeping it in my cooler. If I'm putting my stuff on the boat in the AM and space seems to be an issue with whoever I'm going with, I can say no problem. If I see a suitable location and just pop it on. I wouldn't bring more than 3 rods anyway and wouldn't have to worry about my custom JPR's getting hurt.

Most boats have enough, but I have gotten a reel scratch or two along the way from stuff flopping around.

I hope that wasn't with us. I know how funny I am with my gear...

That would be really nice. I've been trying to think of something to add some holders out of the way, but this looks like you can move it wherever it suits you best at the time.

We have 17 rod holders and a the ones in the gunnel (which are used for gaff's, tail loop, brush, etc.). You would be surprised at how fast 17 holders fill up with 4 or 5 jiggers on board...plus a couple high speed rigs. Let alone trying to do a combo of trolling and jigging

This may just be the answer...

They have some other great stuff too. I like the one with the offset height of the holders so the reels don't beat each other!

No it wasn't with you guys for sure. The cat is layed out well.

I saw that offset one. For what I need though I think the smaller one will be good. I won't be trolling from it ever anyway. They make one with only one suction cup, but I'll like two of everything when dealing with the ocean.
