It was good to see on Sat, I really wish I could have gone with you. Happy to see you guys get into the BFT, they are still my favorite catch. I hope they are still there after this week.

What were your impressions of the new Accurate??
I liked what I saw at the show with the new 600 and 500.
They are still there. I talked with Capt Jay of the Bite Me out of Hatteras today and he quit fishing by 11;30 am after catching 9 bluefin today. I am going back again Friday and I am fishing with Capt Jay of the Bite Me this time.
Nick is joining the trip. I hope fishing is as good as I fished on Monday.

It looks Accurate new BX 2 600 is as gooo as it can be.
I got orders of the reels and I asked Accurate for 9 BX 2 and I have to wait for three weeks to get them.

    Kilsong,
Thanks for the report and pics! The report is full of good info as usual, thanks. Sorry you had a rough day, but sounds like you took it in stride and learned something.
    I love them Reef Donkeys!

Ken will explain to you as he worked on long range boats out of San Diego.
Like Kil said I worked Long Range for a number of years, one thing we use to say was no angles no tangles..Keeping the line in front of you will help you from getting tangled up, but when it happens I would put both rod tips close together which helps you see which line is over the top of the other, once you figure that out just take one of the rods and start going around the other line, either clock wise or counter clock wise for the number of times the line is wrapped. Pretty simple technique, just remember to hold on to the rod when your unwrapping the line..Ken

I was out there on Monday also. You guys past us on the way north. We were in the Regulator. I heard you were in time out. This was my first attempt at jigging offshore and it was a blast. I had a reef donkey put a whooping on me. I am hooked on the jigging!

You and me both!!!!! 15-20mph winds for rest of the week with gust to 25. Seas 4-7ish. Sun only 10-15 but there is alot of swell out there too. I tried to go on small boat but don;t think it is going to happen. Maybe Monday things will change. I'll be there next Fri, Sat, Sun so hopefully they will still be there.

    Weather is fine tomorrow.
We have six guys to fish on the Bite Me tomorrow, but there are two more guys who really want to fish. I feel sorry for them. If we can get another two - four guys I can arrange another boat. If anyone is interested in hot bluefin bites, let me know.
The rate is about $320-350 including tip based on 5 guys depening on the boat we choose.

    Here are fishing reports.

We had a few boats go out today they reported back that the Bluefin Tuna bite is still PHENOMENAL. There is still all you want out there to catch. There were also a few Wahoo, Dolphin and Yellowfin caught.

There were no boats fishing today, strong NE kept all the boats at the dock.

Just like Sunday the Bluefin Tuna bite was hot, boats released up to as many as 15 fish. One that was bought to the dock was 72" and weight in at 200lb. There were also a few Yellowfins caught.
