I've got a few more months til the snow melts and I go fishing, so I figure I might as well give a go to building my own jigging rod. Last year I built some fly rods with my sons, so have the basics down. I have a pair of seeker inshore blue lightings I've used for jigging but want to try a parabolic rod.
So here's what I'm looking for, ~250gm conventional rod 6' or a tad under, acid wrap and as light as possible. So what would you recomend for a blank and guides? I figure I'll go with the fuji reel seat to save weight as well as a composite gimball.
