Here are some options for you:
1) If you are vertical jigging then I would recommend the a Shimano Trevala F series-excellent quality for the price.

If not that then you should definitley look into the OTI rods. They match perfectly with that Stella. The quality is exceptional.

Or we do have one of our custom Melton Tackle Grafiter rods made on a Calstar blank. We match these rods up specifically for Shimano Stella's. They are one of our most versitile spinning rods for jigging/casting/live baiting!!!

I hope this helps your search for the perfect rod.

Will: You are a funny man. Put a Stella 20000 on a Trevalla. That is like going to a gunfight with a knife.
I say Smith 52EX also.

You are not going to be disappointed with JM Powerspell rods and Smith 52EX. I have both of them, but due to low stock of Smith 52EX, I am not selling them until I get resupply.
I doubt any rod builder can make better rods than JM Powerspell rods and Smith 52EX as they are like custom rods.
If you want different length, you may go with customs. I am going to carry custom JM rods with different lengths.
The action of the two rods are different. JM rod is fully parabolic. Between two, I prefer JM 350g or 400g JM Power Spell rods though Smith 52EX is also my favorite rods among Japanese jigging rods as I prefer parabolic rods and I like the balance and recoiling power of JM rods when fighting. My friend also have both of them and he always like to use JM 350 Power Spell rods over Smith 52EX. But everybody has his own preference as they choose cars.

I ended up getting a Smith WGJ 56HS.
Wonder why you do not use the JM 500 as much. "I would do custom, or just get a JM 350, but only from jignpop.com, as Kil will take car of you if anything happens with quality. The 350 is a better all around weight. I have a 500 that I almost never use."
I am looking for a rod to handle those 80-150 lb plus lb. BFT that we target every summer. We do not do any other type of jigging except if we get the smaller canyon Yellowfin, possible Wahoo and maybe a some canyon swords. Day in the day out it will be the BFT.

I don't use it much for several reasons.
One, it takes a big jig to load it.... or I really have to work hard to fish a small jig. Either way, I'm working harder than I want to. The other day the big tunas wanted a 160 to 200g blue jig. It was tough to work those 160's with it. Since it doesn't load, it turns those little jigs into plain old hunks of lead.
Second, it has very little forgiveness. Its so stiff that it acts a lever when a big fish pulls on it, which is tough on the angler. The lighter rods are just as strong and more parabolic.
However, if I was fishing 400g jigs going after 200-300lb tuna, it would be the tool for the job. But that isn't most of my fishing.
I have a 300 gm. Powerspell and have caught close to 80 pound A.J. on it.Awesome rod,Full parobolic bend and have not got close to worrying about it.I believe it will catch much bigger fish, depending on angler!
I also have 500 gm. J.M. rod that loads up real nice and have caught many nice fish with but have not been able to put it to the test yet.Feel's very nice and also easy to jig with all day!
Hopefully I will put it to the test next week in Panama!!!
Make sure if you buy J.M. product you buy them from Kil Song at JignPop.
