    Gulf of Mexico Success

Wanted to share a couple pics and say thanks to everyone on this board. All the theoretical knowledge gained from reading your posts has been paying off. Finally putting some decent fish in the boat and becoming more addicted to jigging and popping with each trip.

It's nice when the learning curve is shortened and my set ups are working correctly the first time.

Personal jigging bests for amberjack and Yellowfin (each at 60 lbs). Now looking for the 100 lbers.

The little sail was dipnetted, but thought it was cool as hell.

    Best Regards

    Tom

Was the sail dead? Smallest one I've ever seen. That's pretty damn cool.

    Thanks guys

No, the sail was only posing for a pic before going back into the live well. Swam round and round the tank with its bill slashing the surface. Shortly thereafter it was released.
