    Too bad we can't keep any of those hinds on the South Atlantic anymore. They were some of my favorite grouper to eat, and many of my drops were loaded with those tasty little grouper.

    Those are strawberry's, aka red hinds, which you can still keep once the season opens back up May 1. It's speckled hinds, aka kitty mitchell's that you can't keep anymore. They have a much darker body than the red hinds.
