My Dad, One of my best friends Russell, and I headed offshore this past Thursday...with the weather predicton calling for a slick cam day, we had to get offshore to see what was up. Fished a few miles past he 14 bouy on some 54'-72' ledges and blew the grouper, BIG black seabass and chocolate porgeys away. It was fish after fish all day long! We caught 18 gags, but we just kept our limit of 1 a peice on these grouper which were between 28"-34", 3 limits of 3-5lb seabass and a few other bottom dwellers. Caught most on either squid and cigar minnows, the 100g flatside pot roast jigs from eastern tackle, and some hammered diamond jigs. We also saw the AJs but I myself was to tired to pitch at'em.
