Thumbs up Good Prices for making own Jigging stuff

Okay so I have been a troll on this sit for a while now soaking up all the information from you guys about making your own assist hooks and stuff. Well with the economy now it will be great if we can star a thread on how to save on jigging stuff. I have spen the last week on reasearching and have come up with the following links to buy all the stuff needed to make assist hooks and here they are below. My question is where can I buy welded or solid rings in bulk without breaking the bank.

Hooks I bought on Ebay: $6.50 timscustomrods( 1148)
Line on Ebay: $210.00 Daiw Saltiga http://cgi.ebay.com/Daiwa-Saltiga-Bo...3286.m20.l1116
    Rod: $59.00 Bare foot rod bought 4 : http://www.jandh.com/p-1087-barefoot...ries-rods.aspx

    Alright lets keep this going

I have one of those barefoot rods....the heavy one they sell for spinning. I really like the rod action when working 200g lures. It was MUCH easier fighting 60lb AJ's with it than my trevala XXH. Everyone's different though.

you can always find something at a better price on ebay but you can not garuntee the quality of the product. Now when you buy from most suppliers here on sportfishermen, the quality will more than likely be there.

Cheapest initail cost does not always mean the best deal.

If you buy jigs and rings and hooks from ebay and buy inlarge quantities to get a discount, it's not much of a discount when they break all the time.

it all depends on what you can settle for
