Are some assist hooks better than others? Not sure of which ones to get. I will have a chance to try this style of fishing out but I want to make sure I have the best chance with the right brand. I got a coupple of 150's / Profish jiggers ina few different colors. Should I make my own? I need some direction and hope you guys can shed some light. Thank you in advance.

I used to use Owner monster stingers, but now thanks to ichibahn I make my own. I like to use the Mustad Ultra Point 8/0 or bigger or the Mustad Hoodlum 8/0 or bigger because they have wide gap and don't get hung up on the jig as much.

I think most all of the jiggers on this site in NC get stuff from Jim! Nice guy...so you can't go wrong.
