Glenn,

That has to be the most informative post I have ever read. Now i have to print all that stuff off so I can give it a try and by some new equipment. Thanks for posting. I have been wanting to try some jigging and just bought a jig from Jim to try out this summer.

Awesome Job GMAN!!!!! It could take someone a lifetime to learn that much info...Thanks for posting that! I plan on getting into the jigging scene much more this year. After witnessing Capt. Dom jig a 150lb. BFT on the RIPDOG in Veach this year....that was enough to convince me...again, great post man!!

Gmann Great post with alot of info for everybody.

Question in some of your pictures it looks like your solid rings and swivels are made together, where can I find them? I don't use swivels on my conventional rigs but I'm setting up a few spinner outfits and will need to surely need to use swivels.

Thanks,
Fishduck

Glen,
As always, first class post full of information. You helped me awhile back on my choice of buying the Stella, you were spot on, I love that reel. I'm sure this post is going to valued by many for years to come.

As said before, I wish I had read this post a year and a half ago. It would have saved me alot of money .

Good job!! This should be in a mag. somewhere... This is hours upon hours of on the water experience rolled into one awesome thread. I don't think that you left much to be questioned.

Good job!!

Gman - awesome write up. Answers just about every question one could have about jigging.

I do have one question. I am starting out and have some items but I am looking to be ready to go in the spring. Some of the items you refer to are japanese brands and I can't find them online in the US. Can you offer any good websites? and if you order from Japan note that also.

Thanks!!
