Gman, that was such a great read. I studied your jigging thread and learned a lot from that. We're heading to PV April 19th for 5 days of fishing and will be trying both styles (jigging and poppers). We got into the tuna big time last year throwing poppers but not as pro as you demonstrate. I hope you really know how much your time in posting that is appreciated. Hey gmann, nice thread! I also read the one on jigging and it is really complete! Ive been jigging for almost 2 years but i always go jigging beside oil platforms, Ive tried few times where u fish red snapper (sorry because i don't really know how to say it I'm from Mexico, i live nearby the Gulf of Mexico) and never had really great results, but i think because ive never tried it enough. But well the other thing i wanted to know is how deep do you pop fishing to get red snappers, grouppers, etc. It seems to be really effective and impressive! So may you tell me how deep it has to be so it may work or does it don't matter?
