Darn-it, it just isn't the right time for me to put together my next set-up a Saliga 40 or 30T with a rod just like Sea Draggin's that Paul made for him.

I need to get momma better and back to work.

I think the last saltigas I got in there with the discount were running me around $280-290 each, new in the box. That place is the honey hole.

Unfortunately they seemed to have raised the prices on the stuff in there. The Saltigas are listed at $450 and 30% off, making them $315 plus tax. The Tiburons were listed at $700 before the discount. Seems like a lot of the stuff is listed above retail. For example...the regular blue water candy 1/4oz. sea witches were listed at $5.99. They go for less than $4 retail in every store I've seen. Still go for slightly less than retail after the discount, but not the deal it appears to be at first glance.

    Just a heads up...

yeah, new guy running it. the guy that use to run it was cool, he'd cut you even more deals etc to move merchandise.

i hvnt bought anything big in there since. still get some good deals in there if you look around.

OK, that explains it. I didn't necessarily want to say anything, but the old guy new how to move some stuff. The advertised discounted price wasn't always the best price, especially once he got to know you a little.

If he's not there anymore, he will be missed.
