The next bite on a jig.

    Florida Jigging Forums?

Are there any good jigging forums that are focused or located in Florida other than the Pensacola site?

Just wondering and you can PM me if not comfortable posting.

    Thanks,
    Jim

that site was the biggest dedicated jigging popping site on the web. just had some personal problems with the owners and had to restart i guess. very sad.
on a separate note, that site gulf coast jiggers is very old. they set that site up and fell of the face of the planet as far as i can see.
i havent seen a dedicated gulf jigging site yet. I think that we are slow to the draw. there are many great contributors on this site that reside in the gulf. we are just a minority compared to the east coast guys.

really there are a small few captains and anglers who are pushing the jigging/popping sport to its limit. most of the gulf guys are either sponsored by or solely use shimano butterfly stuff and wont see much else.
once the other brands and companies catch up i think we will see alot more website activity strictly for the gulf.
I havnt the foggiest idea how to maintain a website or i would start one. Ive got plenty of info to share and know many other who would contribute. sponsors would be a bit tricky i bet.
BTW, how is fishing out of tampa now? we are in full tuna swing as the big boys are showing up out of venice. wahoo shouldnt be long now as well. we cant keep any ajs so its a non issue unfortunately.
now all i need to do is actually get out there!!
