The next bite on a jig.

    First Drop Jigs

This is something new I have designed. Its a hybrid jig that is Diamond shaped on bottom and transitions to a large flat surface on the top. The flat area on the top really lets the scale foil show up nicely.

Named for the phenomena of getting slammed on the First Drop.

    200g First Drop

    300g First Drop

Nice stuff Jim. If you don't go fishing soon you'll have more ideas and jigs than I can carry on my boat without sinking it.

Looking good Jim, but it will be very hard for me to switch away from my favorite first job jig.

    I can live with that.

Just trying to keep it fresh.

Actually this is shaped quite a bit differently than the Katana. It is a much shorter, wider profile jig. I'm sure they will both have their place in a successful trip. I feel this will be a good jig when you need a really fast drop, but a lot of action. Should be really nice for April bluefins.

You read my mind Jim. I bet a couple of groupers will also find these quite appealing too
