Yes, it's been frustrating that tuna didn't cooperate whenever I fish Cape Cod area until this trip. I plan to make another shot, probably the last trip to CCB, on Wed or Thurs depending on weather as I visit Korea from Oct 19 for a week.

Jesse, here is a video to see how I fought the tuna with Zeebaas reel and 500g Jigging Master Power Spell spinning rod without a fighting belt.

excellent bft popping this time

I went up to Cape Cod again and we encountered one of the finest bft popping today (10 -15).

This is probably the best bft popping I experienced in Cape Cod Bay.
We had constant surface action all morning and I had 2 out of 4 on Shibuki. I lost two bft and two Shibuki because I was lazy to replace old Knots I used last week. :x
We stopped fishing by 11:00 am as we felt enough though birds were working and tuna were popping.
I used Ocean Revolution's prototype popping rod. The rod was quite impressive. Though the rod is pretty light, it looks very strong and well balanced.

Shibuki were accounted for all four hook-ups today.

Were you fishing out of a Seavee 340i? If so, we were just leaving Plymouth as it was getting loaded up on the trailer...

Nicely done out there! We were in an act of desperation pushing off at 2:30pm w/ a 6pm sunset. We got about 25 min of topwater action when we arrived, but they dispersed after that, and got hard to find. Still fun seeing the arial displays.

Wish we had been able to push off earlier. Beautiful fish you landed - not a bad two days you put together. Thanks as well for all your technical info/advice in all your posts.
