We were 2 for 6. I would say 'catch and drop' instead of 'catch and release'.
They were biting when we left.

Kil - Nice catches! That bend in the Jigging Master rods sure does look familiar! The 350 gram powerspell is an extremely versatile rod!

I haven't tested 400g rod, but it looks 350g rod is right one for big AJ there. It has enough backbone for big tuna, but I would say the max drag for 350g rod is about 20 - 23 lbs though the rod can take heavier drag.

Kil, you have any more problems with the zb, with the line coming off of the roller?

also, is the drag on the zb keeping up well with the bigger fish?

p.s., very nice fish.

I don't know who started the issue of the line coming off the roller. I don't have such an issue at all with my Zeebaas. When someone suggested the problem, I talked directly with Rob of the Zeebass, you had no idea either why someone spread the rumor.

When a big tuna hit it, 150 yards of line was peeled off the reel, and the drag worked beautifully. It seems existing ball bearing for handle is not strong enough and it made some noise while fighging tuna. When I mentioned it to Rob today, he seemed to know the problem and he fixed the problem already for new reels.

I am happy to use the 400g and let you know. Just tell me when they are here and I'll take one.

Great job on the trip Kilsong. Now, I wish I was able to fish only half of what you do today.
