Fall Jigging Get Together - Morehead???

After the success we had with the Jigging Competition, I was thinking about putting something together for the fall. It will be much less formal. No competition or prizes, just good times. And as the water cools, the fishing can get really good.

What does everyone think?

Month/Timing?
Location?

I am open to suggestions on all aspects. I just like getting everyone together.

The Island Girl is polished and primed with a new set of sparkplugs, new impeller pump, tilt trim repaired fully fuled and freshly pressure washed!!!!

Sept. is a great month for fishing lets shoot for the last weekend of the first weekend of Oct.

Geez. I just looked on mapquest. There is no good way from Morehead City to Destin. 13.5 hours by car.

No excuses just facts. I deliver food service products and I can't take off. I work seven days a week, and fish Wed and Sat after I get off work. I certainly can't travel 13 hrs one way and fish and get home in time for work the next morning.

Im in! With this much lead time I am definitely game. Dates in mind? I think I have a kingfish tourney in October but not sure when. Ill have to check.
